Andy Cohen has released a public service announcement about the “shocking” next episode of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ as the fallout from Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss continues to unravel.
The ‘Watch What Happens Live’ host said Bravo fans weren’t going to believe Wednesday’s episode hadn’t been edited since news of the affair – dubbed the ‘Scandaval’ – broke. been revealed.
“There’s something I wanted to say about ‘Vanderpump Rules,'” Cohen said on SiriusXM’s ‘Andy Cohen Live’.
“Guys, you’re going to watch Wednesday’s episode. You’re going to think it was recut. Okay? It wasn’t recut. That was the episode.
Cohen warned that fans are going to be shocked to hear a conversation between Raquel, Lala Kent and Katie Maloney as he promises viewers the footage “wasn’t touched”.
“I watched it on my sickbed on Wednesday – this episode that’s going to air in two days – I watched it and I was like, ‘People are going to think we did this, or we moved things,” he said Monday.
“The conversations that are going on between Katie and Lala and Raquel should not be believed in light of what came out.”
“That’s how it was going to be shown…which makes it all the more shocking. You won’t believe it,” he added.
Bravo fans were thrown for a loop after it emerged Sandoval had been cheating on his girlfriend of nearly 10 years, Ariana Madix, for months with co-star Leviss.
As Page Six previously reported, Madix realized Sandoval was cheating on her when she discovered a sexually explicit video of Leviss on her phone while watching his cover band perform at TomTom in Los Angeles on March 1.
After realizing the two had “communicated inappropriately for months,” she quickly ended her relationship with the Schwartz & Sandy co-owner.
As news of the full-blown affair emerged, Sandoval and Leviss respectively released statements on social media.
“I want to apologize to Ariana. I made mistakes, was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt someone I love,” Sandoval wrote last week.
“No one deserves to feel this pain in such a traumatic and public way. I can only imagine how devastating it was for Ariana and everyone around us.”
“I feel really awful about it,” he continued. “My biggest regret is that I disgraced Ariana. I never wanted to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends…I owed Ariana better.
For her part, Leviss released a lengthy statement in which she blamed the affair on her “addiction” to love and vowed to do better from now on.
“I’m reflecting on my choices, talking to a counselor, and learning things about myself, like my patterns of codependency and reliance on being and feeling loved,” she wrote.
“I have sought emotional validation through intimate relationships that are unhealthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others, and often prioritizing intimate connection over my friendships.”
Although Madix has yet to comment publicly on the news, she was recently spotted dancing her troubles in Mexico.
The Bravolebrity was spotted partying in Oaxaca City, where she celebrated the wedding of chef Michael Jenkins and Lauren Basco.
