BAFTA Awards 2023 winners: the full list

(CNN) The BAFTA Film Awards took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England on Sunday.

The German film “All Quiet on the Western Front” was the big winner of the evening, winning seven prizes including best film and best director.

“We were lucky to have so many nominations and to win it is just amazing,” producer Malte Grunert said on stage.

“The Banshees of Inisherin” was also favored at the event, winning both actor and supporting actress awards, as well as best original screenplay, among others.

‘Everything, everywhere, all at once’, a favorite ahead of next month’s Oscars, was widely snubbed on Sunday, winning only one award, Best Editing.

Prior to the show, German film ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’ led with 14 nominations, followed by ten nominations each for ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ and ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’. ‘Elvis’ rounded out the top contender field with nine BAFTA nods.
