“Imagine someone saying to them, ‘You’d be nicer if you were thinner,'” she continued. . I would tell them to take that person out of their lives because they’ll just put them down.”

She urged her followers to ask themselves: “‘Does it suit me if someone talks to my loved ones this way?’ If your answer is no, then why is it okay for you to talk to yourself like this? Start talking to yourself as someone you love.”

The social media star remarked that while it’s easier said than done, “How about we become our own hottest girl?”

“What if we filled our thoughts with positive, positive, and sweeter thoughts?” Lenehan proposed. “What if we look in the mirror or see photos like the ones on the right where we’re not posing and we’re like, ‘Thank you my body for doing everything for me.'”

“Words are energy,” Lenehan concluded. “Whenever you tell yourself you’re not good enough or are stuck comparing yourself to others, your body takes notice. When you change the way you talk to yourself, you change your life.”

In the comments, fans thanked the influencer for her perspective and commitment to challenging beauty standards.

In August, Lenehan shared a post about posed or candid photos and encouraged fans not to “compare” themselves to what they see on social media.

“Just a friendly reminder not to compare yourself to others. If you see someone at the beach online, you’re probably seeing their favorite photo out of hundreds (i.e. what the photos on the left represent) “, she captioned the message. “But if you see them in real time at the beach, you’d more likely see the version on the right.”
