Heather Dubrow has announced that her youngest child is transgender.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star, 54, shared a photo on Instagram Saturday of a beach with the name “Ace” written in the sand, along with a sweet message to her 12-year-old son.
“We love you our youngest son Ace ❤️,” Dubrow captioned the post in honor of International Son’s Day.
“Our job as parents is to give our children a safe and supportive environment so they can grow up as healthy, happy, confident and independent human beings,” the mother-of-four continued.
“As Ace is a 12 year old, with a long life ahead of him, we will let him tell his own story one day if he chooses to.”
She concluded, “All we can say is Ace, we love you so much and are proud to be your parents. Your brother and sisters love and support you too ❤️.

In 2020, Heather celebrated her eldest daughter, Max, who came out as bisexual.
Then, two years later, the “That’s Life” alum announced that his other daughter, Kat, was a lesbian.
“Kat decided to drop our family group text, ‘By the way, I’m a lesbian,'” Heather told People in February 2022. “I didn’t see it, and I was mad because the dogs pooped in the house, so I said, ‘Who let the dogs poop in the house?’ It was a total failure of mom, and they never let me forget that.
Kat revealed at the time that her parents have been supportive of her since coming out.
“She asked me a billion questions that really show she cares,” the teenager told the magazine about herself, adding, “She asked me about my pronouns. It’s really easy to talk to him. It’s not like I have to be brave if I have something to say to him.
