Raquel Leviss defiantly returned to social media to update “Vanderpump Rules” fans on her stance with co-star Tom Sandoval after their months-long affair.
“Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been sincere and born out of a loving friendship,” Leviss wrote on Instagram Wednesday night.
“Knowing how many people we’ve hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn how to make better ones.”
Leviss said she now needs to focus on her mental health, as well as “work on her personal growth and make time to come to terms with being alone.”
“I care about Tom and I don’t want to label anything or predict what’s to come. Right now I need to heal,” her statement concluded.
The Bravolebrity officially broke their silence earlier on Wednesday by sharing a lengthy statement with their 515,000 Instagram followers.
“I want to apologize for my actions and choices, first and foremost to Ariana (Madix) and to my friends and fans so invested in our relationships,” she wrote.
“There are no excuses. I am not a victim, and I must take responsibility for my actions, and I deeply regret hurting Ariana.
The 28-year-old blamed the affair on her ‘addiction’ to love and vowed to do better from now on.
“I’m reflecting on my choices, talking to a counselor, and learning things about myself, like my patterns of codependency and reliance on being and feeling loved,” she wrote.
“I have sought emotional validation through intimate relationships that are unhealthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others, and often prioritizing intimate connection over my friendships.”
Leviss claimed she had been ‘physically assaulted, lost friendships, received death threats and hateful emails’ since the case, dubbed ‘Scandoval’, made headlines last week , referencing a sexually explicit video she recently accused her co-stars of sharing.
“I started counseling to end my cycle of unhealthy behavior, learn how to set stronger emotional boundaries, and learn how to protect my mental health,” she concluded, adding that she “doesn’t expect not sympathy, understanding or forgiveness”.

“I want to apologize to Ariana. I made mistakes, was selfish and made reckless decisions that hurt someone I love. No one deserves to feel this pain in such a way. so traumatic and publicly,” he wrote via Instagram early Wednesday.
“I can only imagine how devastating this was for Ariana and everyone around us. … My biggest regret is that I disgraced Ariana.
