Jurassic Park stars Ariana Richards and Joe Mazzello recently reunited 30 years after appearing together in the 1993 blockbuster.
The 43-year-old painter took to Instagram over the weekend to share snippets of the encounter at an event.
Richards didn’t say where they were, but there was a photo of Steven Spielberg with a Raiders Of The Lost Ark hat behind them.
She wrote in a caption with the trio of images, “Guess who I met this week?” Then, speaking directly to Joe, 39, she added: “It was amazing to see you again after all these years, Joe.”
Ariana concluded the note, writing, “Thank you so much @amblin and @universalpictures for creating this Legacy family so many years ago.”
Ariana beamed in the takes, showing off her style as she wore an olive green cropped jacket.
She added a black v-neck shirt and tight black leggings while smiling next to Joe.
Her long blonde hair was styled in a side part with the shiny locks falling over her chest.
Richards’ face was made up lightly with flattering makeup and she showed off a French manicure.
For his part, Joe was dressed in all black and sported a beard shadow with his neatly cropped black hair.
He layered a zip-up jacket over a crew neck as he smiled with his former co-star in front of a photo from the popular 90s film.
One of the artist’s 47,400 subscribers left a supportive comment, posting, “I can’t believe the movie is already 30 years old.” I remember seeing him at the theater with my mother. You were great at it.
Joe also shared two photos on his Instagram account and wrote: “So it happened”.
“I haven’t seen this lovely lady since she was a foot taller than me. And a big thank you to the guy behind us for bringing us together all those years ago.
Richards played 11-year-old Lex Murphy, Tim Murphy’s older sister, in the classic feature film.
She appeared in The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997 before largely stepping away from acting.
The former children’s artist currently lives in Salem, Oregon, where she works as an artist and painter.
Ariana was just 13 when Jurassic Park made its film debut and she is apparently still close with some fellow cast members and still attending franchise-related events.
She attended the premieres of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 2018 and Jurassic World: Dominion last year.
Ahead of the June 2022 premiere, she took to Instagram to share a photo of herself posing outside the TCL Theater in Los Angeles.
After the event, she posted a photo with Laura Dern and wrote, “Laura I love you so much.” You are AMAZING and truly the heart and soul of Jurassic.
Joe was nine years old when the film made its theatrical debut and his role as Lex’s younger brother launched his career.
He also briefly played Tim again briefly in The Lost World (1997).
After Jurassic, Mazzello took on some impressive roles in Hollywood, including playing Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz in The Social Network (2010).
