Based on a Friday, March 10 TMZ report, documents obtained by the outlet show Michael asking a judge to appoint him guardian ad litem in the case. The outlet also reported that the only daughter of Elvis Presley had two life insurance policies – one worth $25 million and another worth $10 million upon his death.
After the unexpected death of Lisa Marie on January 12 at the age of 54, we learned that her daughter Riley Keough33 years old, had replaced Priscilla Presley as sole trustee, Priscilla took steps to formally challenge the trust. She claimed in documents obtained by The New York Post in late January, she reportedly found an amendment to the trust that would eliminate her and a former business leader. She listed “multiple reasons” why the amendment could be a fraud and further asked a judge to declare it “invalid”.
By TMZ, Riley and her twin sisters are currently the beneficiaries of the trust. Their brother Benjamin Keough died by suicide in 2020. It should be noted that Priscilla previously criticized the “noise” surrounding Lisa Marie’s battle over Lisa Marie’s confidence with scathing comments in February.
“I loved Elvis as much as he loved me,” she said in a statement to PEOPLE on Feb. 3, 2023. “Lisa is the result of our love. For anyone to think anything differently would be a travesty of the family legacy and disrespectful of what Elvis left behind in his life.
Priscilla went on to explain that the reports were not from the family “This person is not a representative of Elvis or our family,” she continued. “Please give us the time we need to work together and resolve this issue. Please ignore ‘the noise’. As I have always been there for the legacy of Elvis, our family and the fans, I will continue to lead the way with respect, honesty, dignity, integrity and love.
Priscilla did not name any specific individual, but noted that “an individual who bought his way into the family business” allegedly “tried to speak on behalf of our family.”
