BillboardThe annual Women in Music Awards return on Wednesday, March 1 for the 2023 edition to honor the most influential powerhouses – including artists, creators, producers and leaders – in today’s music who contribute to the industry and the community. This year, the ceremony takes place at the YouTube Theater in Hollywood Park in Los Angeles, and is hosted by award-winning writer and actress Quinta Brunson.
Stars such as Heidi Klum, Erika Jayne and Victoria Monet stunned on the red carpet before the event began.
This year’s winners are SZA, who is Billboardis the woman of the year; Becky G, who receives the Impact Award, and will also perform; Lana Del Rey with the Visionary Award; Kim Petras, who performs and received the Chartbreaker award; Latto, who receives the Powerhouse award; Honda’s Rising Star Doechii, which will deliver a performance; Ivy Queen with the Icon Award; performer Lainey Wilson, who goes by the name Rulebreaker; Rosalia, receiving the Bose Producer of the Year award; and K-pop group TWICE, who will perform and receive the Breakthrough Award.
BillboardThe winner of Executive of the Year 2023 is Sylvia Rhone, President and CEO of Epic Records. She is the first black woman and industry executive to hold this double title at a major record company.
Previously announced presenters include Dove Cameron, Sabrina Carpenter, Chloe Bailey, Coi Leray and Wondagurl.
