Tyler Cameron reveals he only had $200 when he was dating Gigi Hadid

‘The Bachelorette’ reject Tyler Cameron has revealed he only had $200 to his name when he was dating Gigi Hadid.

The reality star enjoyed a brief two-month romance with the model in 2019, shortly after her stint on the hit ABC dating show.

Appearing on Monday’s episode of fellow Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tatrick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast, Cameron revealed his lack of finances.

“He’s like, ‘Man, I don’t know what I’m doing. I have $5,000 in my bank account, I don’t know what my next job is, and I’m dating Gigi Hadid,” Tatrick said.

“Not even $5,000, I had like $200, you know what I mean?” Cameron fixed it.

“I was going on dates – like I was when I started in New York. I live on Matt’s ottoman,” he said, referring to fellow Bachelor alum Matt James. Nation.

“I don’t have any money, but I’m like the happiest I’ve ever been because the world is open to me in New York. I can do whatever I want,” he added.

Cameron remembers calling his father from the bathroom asking for money to pay for the appointment he had.

“I was going on dates, I’m like I’m calling in the bathroom. I’m like, ‘Pops, I don’t think my credit card will go through. I need you to text me money right away. And he’s like, ‘You got it, son, go get it,'” Cameron recalled.

“When you go on a date with Gigi, and you only have $200 to your name, how do you pay for that? Do you already have a story, like how do you handle that? Tatrick asked.

“You’re just crossing your fingers at this point,” Cameron explained. “At this point, I don’t even know what a credit card is.”

“I have a direct debit card, so when you hit zero, you hit zero, you know, so I’m just crossing my fingers, hoping it slips, and it keeps slipping,” he added.

In July 2019, Hadid took the first step by following Cameron on Instagram while he appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette.”

Cameron came in second place on the ABC dating show, but after Brown broke off her engagement to winner Jed Wyatt, she asked Cameron out for a drink.

The couple reunited in Los Angeles the same weekend as Cameron’s first date with Hadid.

After his short-lived romance with Hadid fell apart, Cameron was romantically linked to Camila Kendra and model Paige Lorenze.

Cameron and Lorenze called it quits in August just 3 weeks after going public with their romance.
